BANK OF AFRICA Group has been named "Best Bank in Africa 2020", receiving the prestigious "Golden Award" trophy during the AIFA -Africa Investments Forum & Awards, organized by Leaders League.
This award is led by an organization that focuses on increasing business opportunities. Leaders League brings together more than 700 public and private decision-makers and, through a jury composed of 100 members, recognizes the best projects and businesses for their performance in Africa as well as their innovation.
This "African Bank of the Year 2020" title recognizes BANK OF AFRICA for the second time since 2018, and rewards an African bank with a remarkable positioning on the continent. BANK OF AFRICA is indeed the most internationally oriented Moroccan banking Group with a presence in around thirty countries in Africa, Europe and Asia, employing more than 15,000 people around the world, with a network of 1,800 points of sale serving more than 6 million customers.
The exceptional circumstances surrounding the year 2020 have been a powerful lever for the Group. Throughout the year, BANK OF AFRICA continued its Digital Transformation through new Online Banking solutions for its customers and put in place new measures under the leadership of President Othman Benjelloun to support the economy nationwide, including the launch of new products to support businesses nationally and internationally.
The Bank's continuous development ambitions have affirmed its ability to adapt through innovation, providing cutting-edge communication tools. BANK OF AFRICA is the first in the national banking field to publish an Annual Integrated Report in 2020, a report that is also available in a digital version and various languages. In addition, BANK OF AFRICA has also put in place a website that brings together all of the Group's financial and extra-financial information.
